Lighting. Furniture. Objects.
Restoration means the careful preservation of historical substance — safeguarding originality, authenticity and character.
We restore your lighting, furniture, upholstered pieces and objects from every era of the past 300 years — with passion and exceptional expertise. Our daily work is defined by the systematic analysis of each object, the meticulous selection of materials, and the application of proven techniques that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern methods.
We are also a trusted partner for municipalities and investors. Thanks to our extensive expertise, spacious workshops and perfectly coordinated logistics, we are capable of delivering large-scale projects such as hotels, public buildings and representative properties including banks and insurance companies — reliably and on schedule.

Beat Lüthi, Founder of dieZEITREISE
From a young age, I was fascinated by the mysterious world of past eras — particularly the artistic evolution of historic interiors and furniture. With relentless curiosity, I immersed myself in various styles and traditional techniques, inspired by the beauty and significance of times gone by.
This passion continues to shape my life — a personal journey through time in which each object reveals new stories, secrets and masterful craftsmanship.

We are a Swiss company and see ourselves as mediators of exceptional historical pieces. All objects presented in our shop and on our website are original antiques and unique pieces. They are authentic witnesses of past eras — not newly manufactured mass products or decorative reproductions. Many contemporary manufacturers no longer possess the craftsmanship or material expertise required to create elaborate chandeliers of comparable quality. Industrial production cannot replicate the precision, depth and expressive power of historical works. Factory-made goods simply cannot be compared to the objects presented here.
Each piece is carefully examined in Switzerland, professionally restored and preserved with respect for its history. Swiss precision, discretion and a strong sense of craftsmanship define our approach. In doing so, we unite cultural heritage with sustainable value preservation at the highest level.

The central aim of my restoration work is the careful preservation of historical substance — safeguarding originality, authenticity and character.
Each object tells its own story, which must be explored, understood and preserved with the utmost care and patience. This includes thorough research into provenance, stylistic classification and materials in order to maintain or carefully restore the original condition as faithfully as possible.
