Lighting. Furniture. Objects.
Restoration means the careful preservation of historical substance – safeguarding originality, authenticity and character.
With passion and extensive expertise, we restore your lighting, furniture, upholstered pieces and objects from every era of the past 300 years. Our daily work is defined by the systematic analysis of each piece, the careful selection of materials and the application of proven techniques that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern methods.
We are also a trusted partner for municipalities and investors. Thanks to our broad expertise, spacious workshops and highly efficient logistics, we are able to handle large-scale projects – including hotels, public buildings and representative properties such as banks and insurance institutions – professionally and on schedule.

Beat Lüthi, owner of dieZEITREISE
From an early age, I was fascinated by the mysterious world of past eras – in particular the artistic evolution of historical interiors and furniture. With tireless curiosity, I immersed myself in different styles and craft techniques, inspired by the beauty and significance of earlier times.
This passion has remained a constant throughout my life – a personal journey through time, where each object reveals new stories, secrets and remarkable craftsmanship.

We are a Swiss company and see ourselves as curators of exceptional historical pieces. All objects presented in our shop and on our website are original antiques and unique items. They are authentic witnesses of past eras – not newly manufactured goods or decorative reproductions. Many contemporary manufacturers lack both the craftsmanship and the material expertise required to produce, in particular, elaborate chandeliers of comparable quality.
Industrial production cannot match the precision, depth and expressive power of historical works. Mass-produced items are not comparable to the objects presented here. All pieces are carefully inspected in Switzerland, professionally restored and preserved with respect for their history.Swiss precision, restraint and a strong sense of craftsmanship define our approach. In this way, we combine cultural heritage with sustainable value preservation at the highest level.

The central aim of my restoration work is the careful preservation of historical substance – safeguarding originality, authenticity and character.
Each object tells its own story, one that must be explored, understood and preserved with the utmost care and patience.
This includes in-depth research into origin, style and materials in order to preserve or restore the original condition as faithfully as possible.
